What you'll own.

You'll own the backbone of LinkFetch: the credit-metered API, the MCP server, and the voyager client that talks to LinkedIn on behalf of our users. You'll work directly with the founder on product calls and ship to production in your first week.

  1. 01Own the core API service (Fastify + Postgres + Drizzle) end-to-end
  2. 02Design and ship credit metering, rate limiting, and provenance logic
  3. 03Maintain the MCP server that powers Claude Desktop / Cursor integrations
  4. 04Tune the voyager client and ban-avoidance heuristics
  5. 05Review every PR on the backend; set the quality bar

The profile.

  • ▸5+ years shipping production TypeScript or Go backend services
  • ▸You've owned a credit / quota / rate-limit system at scale
  • ▸You care about observability, cost-to-serve, and honest error messages
  • ▸You're comfortable in Postgres, SQL migrations, and async queues
